Privacy Policy
MyToolPantry provides browser-based utilities and optional signed-in Pantry Plus and shared-workspace features. Core tools run in your browser. We do not sell personal information.
Information we process
When you sign in, our identity provider verifies your email address and supplies an internal account token and optional display name. MyToolPantry uses that non-email token—not your email address—as the stored ownership key for shelves, projects, memberships, assignments, and subscription access. Stripe receives the email needed for checkout and billing communications and processes payment information; MyToolPantry does not receive complete card numbers.
Saved and shared projects
Projects are private to the signed-in owner unless the owner intentionally creates an unlisted read-only link. Anyone who receives an active link can view that selected project until the owner revokes the link or deletes the project. Shared links do not expose the owner’s full project library.
Shared workspaces
For Pantry Pro and Pantry Max workspaces, including the teacher-specific My Classroom pathway, we store the workspace name and type, member display names and privacy-preserving account tokens, access roles, hashed invite codes, shared shelves, and billing status. Email addresses are not displayed to other members or used as stored membership identifiers.
Device data
Free features may store preferences and tool data in your browser. Clearing browser storage removes that device-local data. Microphone audio used by the Noise Meter is analyzed locally and is not recorded or uploaded.
Tool problem reports
When you submit a tool problem report, we store the tool and page, your note, the problem type, submission time, and basic technical context such as browser, screen size, language, and selected theme. Account email addresses are not stored with reports. Tool inputs and visible results are included only when you select that option. Reports use a one-way requester identifier for duplicate and abuse prevention; raw IP addresses are not stored in the report.
Advertising and cookies
Free accounts may receive Google AdSense advertising after advertising is approved and enabled. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to MyToolPantry or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to MyToolPantry and other sites. Visitors can control personalized advertising or opt out through Google Ads Settings; additional third-party advertising opt-outs are available through YourAdChoices. Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, and similar technologies to deliver, limit, and measure advertising under Google's policies. Where consent is legally required, advertising remains disabled until choices are collected through a Google-certified consent management platform. The separate MyToolPantry privacy control governs optional site analytics. Paid plans do not display ads.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand visits, traffic sources, device types, page use, and important product actions such as account creation, saving work, exports, and subscription interest. Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies and receives technical information such as the page visited, approximate location, browser, and device. We do not send tool inputs, saved-project contents, classroom content, passwords, payment-card information, or student names to analytics. Google processes this data under its own privacy terms. Where required, analytics and advertising technologies are subject to consent choices.
Retention and choices
We retain account and workspace data while the account or workspace is active and as needed for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, and security obligations. Contact support to request access, correction, or deletion.
Children
MyToolPantry is a general-audience utility service and is not designed to collect personal information from children under 13. Classroom owners must ensure their use complies with applicable school and parental-consent requirements.
