Gas 3: 325°F / 160°C
Gas 4: 350°F / 180°C
Gas 5: 375°F / 190°C
Gas 6: 400°F / 200°C
Gas 7: 425°F / 220°C
Gas 8: 450°F / 230°C
Gas 9: 475°F / 240°C
Gas 10: 500°F / 260°C
Gas marks are discrete standard settings, not a continuous formula. Oven calibration and manufacturer directions take priority.

How this tool works
Celsius = (Fahrenheit − 32) × 5/9. The fan-oven value applies a common 20°C reduction and gas mark is an approximation.
Limits to know
The fan-oven reduction and gas-mark mapping are common approximations. Oven calibration, load, cookware, altitude, recipe source, and appliance instructions can require different settings.
