How this tool works
It solves three percentage relationships: percent of a number, one number as a percent of another, and the whole when an amount and percentage are known.
Limits to know
A zero total cannot be used as the denominator when finding what percentage one value is of another, and a zero known percentage cannot determine a whole. Negative inputs are calculated algebraically rather than interpreted as a discount or growth rate.
