Wall area is calculated from room perimeter × wall height with entered openings removed, then divided by usable roll coverage and rounded up.

Limits to know

Usable roll coverage—not nominal roll area—must reflect the product and pattern repeat. Wall condition, matching, trimming, openings, offcuts, batch matching, paste, and installer technique can change roll count.
