Planned session: 05:45. Phase deadlines stay anchored to the session timeline so a late browser callback does not extend later phases. Keep the page open and device awake; background throttling or sleep can delay sound and display updates.

How this tool works

The interval timer alternates the configured work and rest durations, counts completed rounds, and derives the display from the current phase end time so ordinary rendering delays do not accumulate as extra seconds.

Assumptions

Work and rest durations use whole seconds and the round count is whole. Phase deadlines remain anchored to the session timeline; a rest follows each work phase except the final completed round.

Limits to know

Audio and visible phase changes depend on browser scheduling, device power state, and sound permission. Background throttling can delay rendering even though phase deadlines are derived from the intended clock.
