How this tool works
The stopwatch compares the browser's monotonic performance clock with the stored start instant and displays elapsed minutes, seconds, and hundredths. Each lap preserves both its individual duration and cumulative split without stopping the clock.

Limits to know
Elapsed time depends on the device's monotonic browser clock. Device sleep, page closure, browser suspension, and hardware timing resolution can interrupt a session; copied laps are not an official timing record.
