How this tool works

The seating chart assigns the cleaned participant list across the selected row-and-column grid while applying the displayed front-row, blocked-seat, and keep-apart controls.

Assumptions

Rows run left to right with the front of the room at the top. Blocked seats are unavailable, front-priority entries are attempted in row one, and keep-apart pairs are checked only across true horizontal or vertical neighbors.

Limits to know

The automatic chart cannot infer mobility, vision, hearing, behavior, language, accommodation, or safeguarding needs. Constraints are best-effort and warnings identify unresolved placements; review and adjust the room plan before use.
